Just make it cost like 5 to 10 Bloonstones but Ana ways that’s my review the improvements were for the developers to read and I’m just gonna say that I love this game Ok here comes the improvement, Make power ups cost Bloonstones instead of monkey money. At the end of the game collecting bloon stones get even harder, like I’m not even kidding! Once you have everything unlocked you can’t get the bloon stones from the Wikipedia book thing (i forgot the name of it) But overall it’s a very good game and I’m only on level 56 and the levels were absolutely amazingly designed! And the best part about this game is MERGING!!! Shoutout to all the designers who designed the merging mechanic!! I can’t even explain it in words! It’s the literal best part of this game and i have some ideas to improve this game. It’s because getting Bloons stones are extremely hard to collect. This game is not just luck, It’s actually a mix of skill and luck which is the difficulty I love! The difficulty curve is a little abrupt but that’s not why rated this game 4 stars. When I told Strong that I, too, thought of the show as a dark comedy, he looked at me with incomprehension and asked, “In the sense that, like, Chekhov is comedy?” No, I said, in the sense that it’s funny. When I asked Strong about the rap that Kendall performs in Season 2, at a gala for his father-a top contender for Kendall’s most cringeworthy moment-he gave an unsmiling answer about Raskolnikov, referencing Kendall’s “monstrous pain.” Kieran Culkin told me, “After the first season, he said something to me like, ‘I’m worried that people might think that the show is a comedy.’ And I said, ‘I think the show is a comedy.’ He thought I was kidding.” Part of the appeal of “Succession” is its amalgam of drama and bone-dry satire. That’s when he got the call that the “Succession” people had cast Kieran Culkin as Roman. “It was a devastating experience.” (Bigelow says that the character wasn’t working in the story after Strong pleaded with her, she came up with another part for him, as an attorney.) Then he flew to Denmark to get married, staying at a castle called Dragsholm Slot. “I was just not the character that she had in her mind,” Strong said. He arranged to miss part of his wedding-week festivities for the filming. That August, Strong, who was living in Los Angeles with his fiancée, went to film “Detroit.” He had done deep research for the role, watching military documentaries and practicing marksmanship at a shooting range. I could do something that I hadn’t done before.” “I thought, Oh, wow, Roman is such a cool part,” Strong said. McKay gave him the pilot script and said, “Tell me what role you connect with.” Strong picked Roman Roy, the wisecracking youngest son of Logan Roy, a Rupert Murdoch-like media titan. In 2016, Kathryn Bigelow, the Oscar-winning director of “The Hurt Locker,” cast him in a big role, as a National Guardsman in her film “Detroit.” Around the same time, Strong had lunch with Adam McKay, who had directed him as a financial analyst in “The Big Short.” McKay said that he was executive-producing a new HBO show called “Succession,” which he described to Strong as a “King Lear” for the media-industrial complex. And you get used to people not noticing.” “Your focus just becomes about the work and trying each time to go to some inner ledge. “You come to New York, and you’re doing Off Off Broadway plays, and you are in the wilderness,” Strong told me, of his early career. But, as he approached forty, he felt that his master plan wasn’t panning out-where was his Benjamin Braddock, his Michael Corleone? By his mid-thirties, after fifteen years of hustling in the industry, he’d had minor roles in a string of A-list films: “Lincoln,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Selma,” and “The Big Short.” He’d played a staffer in both the nineteenth-century White House and the twenty-first-century C.I.A. By his early twenties, he had worked for all three men, and had adopted elements of their full-immersion acting methods. He read interviews that his heroes gave and, later, managed to get crew jobs on their movies. When Jeremy Strong was a teen-ager, in suburban Massachusetts, he had three posters thumbtacked to his bedroom wall: Daniel Day-Lewis in “My Left Foot,” Al Pacino in “Dog Day Afternoon,” and Dustin Hoffman in “Rain Man.” These weren’t just his favorite actors: their careers were a road map that he followed obsessively, like Eve Harrington casing out a trio of Margo Channings. The early 2000's were a different time where things were more edgy and sex appeal being shoved down your throat every where was the norm, but stuff like this stilll shows up in games. The 2000's gave rise to trashy celebs like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton that got famous from having their sex tapes "leaked", reality shows like Jersey Shore and The Hills were all the rage shows about people getting drunk and sleeping with strangers, and songs like I'm N Luv wit a Stripper, Smack That, Bootylicous, and Touch My Body were pop hits of the era with essentially soft core porn music videos. Also most of the outfits aren't super revealing compared to the clothing of it's time keep in mind the early 2000's was the era where mini skirts, mini shorts, tube tops, and crop tops were trendy I mean, songs like Move Ya Body and Yeah were songs about girls dancing in ways that turned on guys and were both released the same year as this game. This was a racing game made during the height of the early 2000's tuner boom and with all the licensed cars and brands in the game it's not like they couldn't afford to hire some models to shoot 30 second clips and less than a minute of audio each. This game was made back before booth babes were considered trashy here in the US and sex appeal was used to sell everything from pepsi to axe body spray and ladies hair products. These women were models that were paid to perform, not convinced into doing something wrong or demeaning. I truly hope this game gets a sequel some day!ĭude you act like dancing in a bikini is a foreign concept that is repulsive to women. I'm sure it wasn't easy! "Okay, the lighting is great, now strip down to your bikini and do a little wiggle dance." I can just imagine the models responding, "You want me to do what?!?!?!" haha. Cheers to the casting director responsible for convincing them all to go through with it. It was awesome for me to see so many attractive ladies swallow their pride and dignity by performing a bikini-clad booty dance just for our entertainment. For example, Natasha Yi was the first Asian-American spokesmodel on The Price is Right. Although none of them reached massive levels of fame, they all had very successful careers. If you have an internet connection and a y-chromosome, at some point in your life you've stumbled upon Francine's work.įlo Jalin, Aiko Tanaka, Linda Oneil, Sharon Sotto, Kaila Yu, Natasha Yi - All of these girls were popular around the modeling and car show circuits. She was arguably one of the first "webcam girls," owning and operating her own membership site at a time before such a thing really existed. She did playboy, she was in an Adam Sandler movie, she had her own reality show, she became a huge star.įrancine Dee - While Francine didn't necessarily have a traditional acting/modeling career, she was a pioneer in her own right. Tila Tequila - Right after this game came out, Tila blew up and became massively famous. Whatever happened, it's cool to see her in the game. Then when the camera crew told her "take off your clothes and do a sexy stripper dance in a bikini" she ran for the nearest exit haha. I suspect her agent signed her up for the gig, and she showed up unsure of what it was. I don't know how the hell SRS got her, but I have a feeling something went wrong because she's the only model that had just 1 dancing scene. People forget that Baywatch was the most watched TV show in history (worldwide). She was in NYPD Blue, The Bold and the Beautiful, Mortal Kombat, and most notably Baywatch. that can't really be her can it?" In the late-90's and early-00's Angelica was an A list, world famous celebrity. While I'm not familiar with every single girl in the game, I recognized several of them.Īngelica Bridges - When I saw her in the game for the first time, I did a double-take. I happen to be a connoisseur of fine women, so I was very pleasantly surprised with the cast of SRS. The Elderscroll series is a good example of this.
